A Special Recipe

This recipe reminds me of a really nice day. The recipe is still on the back of the small shells box of pasta but the picture on the box is different than this one because we modified it to our own taste :)
  •  1/2 package of small shells
  • 4 slices of bacon (More if you really enjoy bacon ;)
  • 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 5 cups milk
  • 4 teaspoons bouillion (I think we just used garlic salt)
  • We also added parsley so it would be more colorful :)
Cook pasta according to package... you might have to actually taste a noodle to make sure it is done. In a large saucepan over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp, remove and crumble. Drain the pan reserving some of the drippings. Add chicken and onion and cook and stir until chicken is tender. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in milk. Cook until slightly thickened. Stir in pasta and bacon and other seasonings.
